Schlage – Info

In this segment we are going to go over Schlage Locks and keys.  Schlage is a brand of lock that is very well respected and used widely.  It is very high security and can use a 5 or 6 pin key.  The key has a specific shape to it like a z.  The shape of the key way makes it more difficult to pick.  Kwikset keys will not go into a schlage lock.  But just because you have a Schlage key does not mean that the lock is.  York locks also use Schlage keys the key way shape as well as a few others.
